One of the options you have when setting up your stockroom for Invedent is having individual stickers for each product. However, this process is only recommended for products with a specific place in the stockroom. If you often move the product around, check out this process on setting up stickers in your stockroom. Otherwise, continue reading and learn how to set up individual stickers onto your stockroom:
Placing your Stickers
We recommend only placing stickers on the shelf for products that do not move around often and on an A4 sheet of paper for products that do.
Stickers on the Shelf
Place the stickers down consistently as to how the stocks are organised on the shelf. Stick the sticker to the front of the shelf where the stock item is kept. If the sticker's edges become unstuck due to the shelf being too thin, feel free to use a scalpel to cut off the overhanging sides of the sticker. Make sure that the barcodes do not fold over the edges of the shelf as it will affect the scanning.
Pro Tip: Check out this great guide for keeping your stockroom organised.
Stickers on an A4 Paper
Download our A4 templates by clicking here. Stick your template on the cupboard, and apply the stickers in the same order as how the stock items are arranged on the shelf. You can also use a folder to create a portfolio style of all the individual stickers if that will work best for your practice.
